About Me:

My name is Alexander Lopez and I am a 30-year-old father of one. My son, wife and I live right here in Tempe, a rocks throw from the Arizona State campus, and have been here for about three years. Even though we live up in Phoenix, I am an Arizona native, but from the area down south know as rival territory… Tucson. I was born in the hot desert, but I grew up and spent a lot of my childhood in Long Island, New York. I currently am a freelance Photographer as I finish up my Digital Photography Degree and serve full time in at a church down here in Tempe as the lead and only photographer.

My interests mostly are in photography, and all different kinds of it. I personally focus on candid and portrait shots, but love looking at peoples work that are in other mediums. I currently don’t have a specific color pattern or theme to my photography, but I take a lot of photos in a church-like Christian setting so I would have to say that is what my work is currently centered around. My intent as an artist, and how I dream about using my degree, would be that I provide professional photography services at a fraction of the cost. Being a Christian, I feel it is essential that people can see the love of Christ through my work and how I carry myself. I find it very unnecessary to charge people an arm and a leg for photos and editing, when it is something I already love to do, so the goal is to one day run a full-time business where I can provide people the quality and elegance of professional photography, at a fraction of what some people charge. In my opinion, I believe that people deserve to be able to afford to get their pictures taken and have their most cherish moments captured and not have to break the bank.
